Face Place “Rises” to the Occasion
This past weekend, Apple Industries donated to the Sunrise Association’s annual Sunrise on the Rocks event. The event, which is organized to help send children with cancer to camp, grossed over $55k this year. Apple Industries generously supplied one of their state of the art photo booths as a form of entertainment. Jessica Kamens, the Development Associate for the Sunrise Association, had this to say about their involvement, “Guests were raving about the photo booth and the incredible staff person. We think the donation made our event extra successful.”
It is events like these that allow Apple Industries the ability to give back. The passion of the company is driven by the ideology that their products are meant to entertain, to engross and transport a person from their everyday life to something much bigger, and take photographs of the experience. These mementos capture a moment in time and grant people the ability to display it and mentally transport back to the experience long after it is over. That is the beauty of photographs, they transcend just visuals and allow individuals the ability to recall memories. It is the company’s hope that their passion expands and affects many in a positive way, as it has this past weekend.
